Hello There, I’m Kristina! I am a follower of Jesus, an older sister and daughter, and “Auntie KK” to a handful of kiddos I love like my own! My journey with photography started when I was just a small 3-year-old girl and my mom handed me a disposable film camera to play with. Unlike most children, I didn’t lose interest quickly and it soon became one of my favorite toys to play with. It wasn’t until I was a high school student that I truly dove into the photography profession and it morphed from a hobby to a passion. I attended California State University Fullerton as a photography major and it was during that time that I discovered my love for newborns. I specialize in Natural Light Newborn Photography and absolutely love what I do. Because of this, I treat each tiny client with the utmost respect and care and I always make safety a priority. I’m trained in Infant Care and Handling, Newborn Safety, and although it has never been needed, I keep my First Aid and CPR cards current as well as my yearly vaccines.
I’m a Nikon girl, always and forever. I have quite a few cameras I love to play with, but I primarily shoot digital for all my sessions. What’s in my bag you ask? A Nikon D3, 35mm 1.4, 60mm 2.8, and 85mm 1.8. I strive to preserve memories that will last a lifetime in a clean, crisp, and artistic way that’s unique to your family. My favorite sessions to photograph are my Hello Baby hospital lifestyle sessions and my posed Newborn portrait sessions as well. Both are very near and dear to my heart. I fell in love with capturing new family members in a way that they’ll never be again: brand new. That first hello, the tiny little details of wispy eyelashes, peely skin, and delicate little rosebud lips, the moment in time where you fell in love all over again… I love it all and am hooked. I am a Christian and totally feel as though when I’m shooting I’m showing off God’s handiwork. It’s astounding to me how unique each and every person I photograph is, and I absolutely can’t wait to meet you and your family. Aside from photography, I have a passion for helping people and am currently working as a Registered Medical Assistant. Most of my free time is spent reading, playing with my Godbabies, and swinging in my hammock. I can’t wait to meet you and create unforgettable portraits that your family can treasure forever.
